Mock NFL Week 5 (and other fantasy notes)

* I'm in my first NL only baseball rotis. league. I'm learning there is an art to the waiver wire this time of year. I don't know the average but already there have been 3 signficiant fantasy contributors to switch leagues. (Aubrey Huff, Bob Wickman, Shea Hillenbrand). With rumors continuing on future trades when does one use their waiver spot to pick up a player. Do you waste a high waiver spot now only to find out A-Rod was traded to the Cardinals tomorrow?

* Worst thing about fantasy football? Picking a draft date. Coordinating the schedules of 10 men is not an easy task (especially when many have wives and kids that have you on their hit list). Good thing the result is the best thing about fantasy football...draft day.

Here is the Mock week 5 (and a VERY sad one for me to type as an Eagle's fan)
Miami (2-2) v. New England (2-2)... Miami is so focused on this game...I'm assuming duante is in form by now (miami)
Tampa Bay (2-1) v. New Orleans (0-4) .. I just think this is a good week for that upset that will bring the saints first win...(New Orleans)
Washington (2-2) v. New York Giants (2-1) ...LaVar's revenge comes short. I'm not trusting Eli enough in this one (Washington)
Detroit (2-2) v. Minnesota (0-4) ... Detroit is going to start clicking on offense and continues their roll (Detroit)
Cleveland (1-3) v. Carolina (3-1)...Fairly clean and easy win for the Panthers (Carolina)
Buffalo (2-2) v. Chicago (2-2) ... Buffalo scores negative points in this one (Chicago)
St. Louis (1-3) v. Green Bay (2-2) ... A.J. Hawk begins to lay claim to defensive rookie of year ..(Green Bay)
Tennessee (1-3) v. Indianapolis (3-1) ... Fairly easy job for Colts (Indianapolis)
NY Jets (0-4) v. Jacksonville (2-2) ... Jags needed an easy opponent! (Jacksonville)
Oakland (2-1) v. San Francisco (1-3) ... Oakland takes this 'road' victory (Oakland)
Kansas City (2-1) v. Arizona (3-1) ... Great interconf. matchup. The red teams wins (with yellow highlights)...(Kansas City)
Dallas (3-0) v. Philladelphia (4-0)...Let the hype begin. Unfort it's a dark day as Eagle's fall at home and their 4-0 start feels lik 0-4 to the Philly media. (Dallas)
